Hi, I’m Dave Pyke, yep that’s me above at a Halloween party. In case you’re wondering, I am dressed as a person who has been savagely bitten by gruesome undead teddy bears, and I have been turned into a zombie as a result. I loved this costume 🙂
Parties are my passion! I love hosting and going to all kinds of parties. Over the years, I’ve planned tons of fun themes and learned how to make parties rock. Now I want to share my tips and tricks with you.
I’ve been hosting parties since high school. My friends and I would get decked out in crazy costumes and decorate my basement for Halloween, prom, and birthday bashes. We’d stay up all night dancing, playing games, and just having a blast together.
In college, I joined a fraternity, which meant there was a big party almost every weekend. I helped decorate, pick playlists, and brainstorm party games.
Now I’m all grown up with more responsibilities I’ve gone from hosting wild all night ragers to more subdued social gatherings, but I still love the excitement of going to parties when I get the chance and seeing how other people host their events.
I created Shindiggiddy to share all the things I’ve learned from my years of party planning and attending excellent nights. My goal is to help you make party planning stress-free and fun.
